Cabo Bachelorette Party Guide: Villas, Yachts and Nightlife

Cabo San Lucas has become one of the most popular bachelorette destinations in North America, and it's easy to see why. You get guaranteed sunshine for most of the year, short flights from much of the US, a stunning coastline and nightlife that goes as late as you want. This guide covers the three things that make or break a Cabo bachelorette: where you stay, the day on the water, and how you spend your nights.
Part 1: Where to stay
The single biggest decision is where the group sleeps. You can split across hotel rooms, or you can all stay in one private villa. For a bachelorette, the villa almost always wins.
Why a villa
- Everyone together. Getting ready, pregaming and the post-night debrief all happen in one place.
- Your own pool. No competing for loungers, and your playlist all day.
- Staff included. A private chef handles brunch and dinners, and a bartender takes care of mimosas and margaritas.
- It's decorated for the bride. Our concierge team decorates the villa for the bride's arrival with balloons, banners, florals and a styled welcome setup. The bride walks in to a house that's already ready for the celebration, and the group walks in to the first photo op of the weekend.
Our two picks
- Villa Lands End: 8 bedrooms, up to 22 guests, perched on the cliffs of gated Pedregal. The pool and jacuzzi look straight out over the Pacific, and the sunsets are unreal. It's ideal for groups who want the dreamiest photos and a relaxed, luxurious base. See the full listing: Villa Lands End on Cabo Connections.
- VIP Marina Mansion: 8 bedrooms, up to 26 guests, within walking distance of the marina and downtown. Two pools, a hot tub, a 3rd-floor ocean-view bar with a 75" TV, a sauna and an elevator. It's perfect for groups who want to walk to dinner and the bars. Full listing: VIP Marina Mansion on Cabo Connections.
Part 2: The yacht day
If the villa is your home base, the yacht is the main event. The 90ft party yacht leaves from the Cabo San Lucas marina and cruises out toward Land's End and El Arco, the famous rock arch where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific. You'll pass Lover's Beach, anchor up for a swim and use the water toys.
Every package includes a live DJ with pro equipment, a premium open bar, a full-course meal and water toys, for up to 30 guests with taxes included:
- 3 hours, $5,300 USD
- 4 hours, $6,500 USD, the most popular choice
- 5.5 hours, $7,500 USD
Matching swimsuits, a "bride" sash and a sunset departure make for the best photos of the trip. See the boat at CaboPartyYacht.com.
Part 3: Days around town
Médano Beach
Cabo's main swimmable beach is lined with beach clubs and restaurants, and the music runs all afternoon. It's an easy, fun day out with the group, and it's a short ride from either villa.
Lover's Beach and El Arco
If you're not taking the yacht, water taxis from the marina and Médano Beach can get you out to see the Arch up close.
Flora Farms
The well-known farm-to-table restaurant and farm in the foothills near San José del Cabo is a favorite for a long, pretty brunch or dinner. Ask the concierge to book well ahead.
Spa time
Cabo is full of excellent spas, which is perfect for the morning after the big night. Your concierge can arrange treatments.
Part 4: Nightlife
Cabo's nightlife centers on the marina and downtown Cabo San Lucas. Start with a sunset dinner, then head to the bars. Long-running names like Cabo Wabo Cantina and El Squid Roe are part of the classic Cabo night out, and the marina area has plenty of cocktail bars and lounges. Have the concierge handle reservations for a big group dinner first, so you're not waiting for a table for 15.
If you're staying at VIP Marina Mansion, you can walk downtown. From Villa Lands End in Pedregal, it's a short ride down the hill.
A sample weekend
- Day 1: Arrive to the decorated villa, then a welcome toast, pool time and a chef-made dinner at the house.
- Day 2: Brunch at the villa, the party yacht in the afternoon, then dinner and nightlife downtown.
- Day 3: A late brunch, then Médano Beach or a pool day, and a sunset dinner on the terrace.

Bachelorette FAQs
How many nights should we book?
Three nights is the sweet spot for most groups. It leaves room for a slow arrival day, a yacht and nightlife day, and a recovery day before flights home. Four nights gives you a true extra pool day.
Can friends who aren't staying at the villa join the yacht?
Yes. The yacht holds up to 30 guests, so you can include anyone in Cabo for the celebration.
Can the decorations match a theme?
Yes. Tell us the bride's colors or theme when you inquire, and the concierge team will style the welcome setup around it.
Is Cabo walkable?
Downtown and the marina are, which is why VIP Marina Mansion is popular with groups who want to walk to dinner. From Pedregal it's a short ride.
